The ALEXYS™ is a HPLC system with electrochemical detection that has been designed to meet the highest demands for detection sensitivity and performance. The ALEXYS is easily upgradeable to micro-bore and capillary LC-EC. The system uses Clarity, a fully featured data acquisition software with all the tools for automated data acquisition, calibration, processing and reporting.

An ALEXYS analyzer additionally has the appropriate kit that is optimized for a specific application. For example, guaranteed applications have been developed for the analysis of neurotransmitters such as noradrenaline, dopamine, serotonin and metabolites in microdialysates. Typically, picomolar concentration detection limits have been obtained in only a few microliters of sample. Parallel detection schemes using multiple flow cells have been developed for time, sample and experimental cost savings! DECADE_EliteaAntec is known for its electrochemical detectors (ECD), providing unprecedented sensitivity in HPLC analyses. In almost any kind of application in conventional HPLC, UHPLC, Micro-, Capillary- and Nano HPLC, ECD is extremely selective and sensitive. It is applied routinely in a number of analyses such as neurotransmitters, (poly)phenols, carbohydrates, and a large variety of pharmaceutical compounds.


The DECADE Elite detector with its advanced electronics provides an enormous linear dynamic range of more than 6 orders of magnitude. The DECADE Elite is used in Antec’s ALEXYS systems, or with any other commercial HPLC or UHPLC system such as Waters, Agilent, Thermo-Fisher, Shimadzu, Jasco, Perkin Elmer, and Knauer.

Clarity from DataApex is an advanced modular software package for data acquisition, data processing and instrument control. Up to four independent LC systems each with up to 12 detectors can be simultaneously connected. Optional ‘Control modules’ provide integrated control of selected instruments, ‘Extensions’ provide specialized functionality for PDA or GPC analysis. Its wide range of data acquisition interfaces (A/D converters, LAN, USB, and RS232) allows connection to virtually any chromatograph.

Evaporative Light-Scattering Detectors provide a Universal detection mode for Liquid Chromatography and Supercritical Fluid Chromatography.
